Alienware 13 not recognizing second m.2 ssd
I just installed an ADATA m.2 ssd in the second slot and while the drive shows up in the bios and to intel rapid storage app it does not show up in windows as a usable drive. All I get it is the original ssd as drive "c" and I it does not show as a "d" or any other drive. It also shows up in device manager as well. What do I need to do to get it to show up as the "d" drive.

Are you not able to format it in disk management?

Sounds like it needs to be Initialized and Formatted in Windows:
