Alienware 15(Early 2015) Audio crackling issues from inbuilt speakers at volumes above 68
The title explains it all , could anyone post a solution to this.
Currently reinstalling audio drivers. Will edit post when its done
Edit1:I forgot to tell , its only certain audio frequencies which crackle (like 2-5%)
Edit2:Reinstalled still the same issue.
Edit3:While surfing the net for speaker checking audio files. I came across this
i checked my speakers with the left and right audio file. Turns out the right speaker gains extra volume than the left one. Used recon3di panel to reduce the right speaker to 60%, both speakers now emit same volume and the crackling issue is gone.
Are my speakers defective or is this common for all AW 15 users or does this require a "proper" fix from alienware

On my alien 15 with 970m and i7-4710, i had the same issue discribed on this thread. I had A00 bios and I disable the overclocking options on bios and the issue had solved. I hope this works for you
