Alienware M18x R2 not detecting its discrete video card(s)

Hi albertss‌, 

Try a power drain: unplug system from power, take the battery out and hold the power button for around a minute.

Make sure the BIOS is up to date, also, update the video drivers. 

You can reset the video card, here is a video that will show you how to do it.
