Aurora R2 wont switch on
Hi,
My Aurora R2 has stopped turning on the the switch. When I press the switch I hear a couple of clicks from the power supply. If I disconnect and reconnect the power cord a few times it suddenly boots normally without the switch being pressed.
I have tried disconnecting all peripherals etc. and it makes no difference.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also if it looks like a new power supply is needed, I'm running 2 x HD5870 in Crossfire, what size is recommended?

Download the Service Manual and read up on disassembly. I think you need to remove the top I/O panel to see if the power button is not seated in it correctly. A simple test for the power supply is to press the far right Diagnostic button on the power supply. If the light comes on, the power supply is fine.
