Boot issues Alienware Aurora R3

I bought a new Alienware Aurora R3 in August 2011.  I have had numerous issues out of the box, always when booting the computer.  Thermal controller issues, one complete failure to start Windows (which miraculously cured itself with the next boot). 

In reviewing my Windows 7 event viewer, it shows numerous critical boot performance monitoring warnings (errors, critical, and warnings).    Also, some of these error messages  are six months prior to my even buying this new computer. 

Is anyone else having boot issues with Alienware Aurora R3's?  And should there be error messages in Windows 7 event viewer 6 months prior to my buying it as a new computer?
