Is the IO board in the Area 51 and Area 51 ALX the same?
Simple question, is the IO board (i.e the board that the various parts of the case are plugged into) the same between the Area 51 and the ALX version? Like, can I plug in the motorized drive bay door from the ALX into a non-ALX IO board?

The ALX mio board has a spot to plug the front motorized drive bay door into that the non ALX doesn't have. You can use a ALX mio board on a non ALX but not the other way around unless you are fine with the door not working.
Good news,well maybe not but the boards are better then the tech support.

Wow, I would have figured that Alienware would use the same board, with the motor plug not being used in the non-ALX model. Wouldn't it be more expensive to manufacture two different boards that are almost exactly the same? Anyway, that about answers my question, thanks.
