Microsoft updates
I have a dell desktop aurora 4 2012 which is giving me problems with updating. error 80073712 an I have done everything except put a windows 7 disc for re-run. I have restored, an nothing , also followed every move that, that error says for updates to work. Are there any tricks to get the updates to work, an not call Microsoft ,as it will really cost me.

I feel the frustration. I think there is a Microsoft Fix it Program just to clear up this kind of issue. I know I ran some little something from M$ to clear up the same issue, updates not downloading - installing on my
Windows 8.1 Pro. Obviously it is on the M$ site., and it is my kind of price. FREE.

Not entirely sure what is causing that error message.
Is it possible that you can submit a screenshot or take a picture of that error so we may see it?
