Question for 4870 Crossfire in M17X
Hi everyone, I just got my new M17X with 4870 Crossfire, running very good. But I got a question, Alienware uses a Nvidia G9400 as a onboard GPU which is a good idea for running M17X in battery model. But it didn't work with 4870 very well, everytime I need to disable it from BIOS setup in order to let 4870 working properly.
Anyone has any idea about this? Beacuse when u change to battery model, m17x will change to onbaord gpu immediately. Then 4870 will be disabled.
Thank you so much for your help!

Yeah, that wae what I did. But when u change to battery model, m17x will trun on the onboard GPU immediately. That means everything u plug in again, u need to go to BIOS setup to trun off onBoard GPU, I dont like this. My question is can we let them work together?
Thank you so much!

To have the 4870 Crossfire on all the time, go into the bios and switch both the Hybrid Graphics and Integrated Graphics to Off.

I do not see that option in the bios.
