ec flash didn't work
updated the latest Bios for my M15: burnt the iso as directed, re-started and booted the CD, updated BIOS no problem but the EC flash got as far as a message "flash EC 'Y' / 'N' / R:\" so I typed Y and hit enter it came back "R:\ bad command" and repreated that whatever I then typed.
Re-booted and the BIOS has updated to A02 but the EC has stayed at 0.92 and not updated to 0.96 as the download suggested it would -- because the EC flash did not work.
Any suggestions on how to just flash the EC now?

just as an update, on another board a reply indicated that the flash had just stopped, so the solution was to manually flash when the DOS command appears by typing DFLASH EC_W670.096
this works and the BIOS update is then complete with the EC flash. Your laptop will power down after the flash and need to be turned back on -- don't freak out and think you've bricked it!
