also debating on just getting 3 of the same monitors just to keep the extended display stable, instead of switching from the 2 resolutions, but i dont know if it is that big of a deal or not, this is my first build ive ever done

If you have room for Three matching 27-inch monitors, go for it.

However, at that size and resolution, my guess is you are only going to end-up actually gaming on the middle one.

So, this single middle one is what is important. It's the one that needs G-Sync (if possible). Or IPS-panel for better colors if you plan to do something other than gaming. The side ones will benefit from IPS-panels for better off-angle viewing angles. A G-Synced IPS-panel monitor would be ideal (if they even make those).

If your monitor budget was $1000 for example. You can buy ONE really nice monitor for that. But if you want THREE for $1000, you are going to end-up gaming on and using the middle one mainly, and it's only going to be an average $333 monitor. If you want THREE, the monitor budget needs to be 2-3 times as large.

Finally, if you have 3 EXACTLY MATCHING monitors, you can do some cool "surround 3-monitor" gaming (maybe WoW could keep-up) or a flight-or-racing-sim for example. However, from your description of how you plan to have different parts of the gaming-broadcast going concurrently, this might have to be "offline". Maybe that's when streamers jump to using two computers?

hmmm, thats good to know, i just might do 3 1440's then

switching between different Resolutions via Drag & Drop can be annoying. Things don't scale automatically. maybe you could deal with it after While.

about the Monitors: i'm not sure if you could notice a Difference between 144 Hz and 240 Hz. sounds like Overkill to me and i don't know how well it works TBH. also, the Monitor is a 1080p Model. have you tried Gaming on a 1440p or 4K Screen before? you might regret not going with higher Resolution. the 1080TI Card is actually not ment to be used with 1080p Monitors. 1440p, 144 Hz is pretty much sweet Spot for 1080TI GPU.

I was more excited until I read the Newegg reviews closely.

The intermittent "line down the middle" and of course OoB dead-pixel is a little alarming.

Anyway, good to see G-Synced IPS Monitors on the market now. Maybe BenQ or LG makes one also?

There does NOT appear to be a Predator 24inch IPS-Panel version.

Latest list update

That 2133mhz memory doesn't sound quite right. See Aurora-R6 Service Manual PDF for specs and restrictions.

The Aurora-R6's motherboard has an Intel z270 chipset. The base or stock-clock for ram memory is 2400mhz, with 2666mhz for XMP (OC).

Which Dell DDR4 memory for Aurora R6?

yep. i like IPS too. even my tiny Windows Tablet has IPS Screen. no more Angle related Issues. yay

Acer Predator XB271HU 27" WQHD IPS NVIDIA G-Sync Black/Red Gaming Monitor, 2560 x 1440 (2K), 144 Hz w/ Overclocking to 1…

You found one!

G-Synced IPS-Panel, excellent. Yeah, I would get this (or 3 of them).

Or, exactly this, but 24inch version

- Should be G-Sync, IPS-Panel, and around 1080p

yes. Quality is an Issue with Acer and Asus Stuff. the Monitor i got for my Brothers Birthday however is pretty much Flawless. so it's a Hit or Miss.

Correct, whenever possible. Display-Port is the real replacement to DVI on computers.

IMHO, HDMI is really only for Home Theater (and connecting computers to HT).

List of G-SYNC Monitors | Blur Busters List of G-SYNC Monitors – Blur Busters

Acer Predator XB271HU 27″ IPS 2560×1440 165 Hz G-SYNC ULMB

ASUS ROG PG279Q 27″ IPS 2560×1440 165 Hz G-SYNC ULMB

Viewsonic XG2703-GS 27″ IPS 2560×1440 165 Hz G-SYNC ULMB
Acer Predator XB270HU 27″ IPS 2560×1440 144 Hz G-SYNC ULMB

I'm guessing XB270HU is the older model.

Anything over 27-inches is not in this list

AOC is not in this list because AOC used to be very low end and troublesome. Maybe they are better these days (don't know).

Still wondering if BenQ, LG, or equivalent has offering that didn't make the list.
