17 R4, fans rattling, screen freezing, random shutdowns

I've been having the same problems with my Alienware 17 R4. I also see that there are a lot of OTHER computer manufacturers having the same problem. The only changes to my system included:

- Windows 10 auto updates

- Dell support driver updates

Nothing else changed. I just tried uninstalling Dell SupportAssist to see if that stops it. It's a random freeze (everything freezes, including mouse), and computer fans go high speed. Have to do a hard shutdown and restart, then it's normal again. I've also been experiencing random memory change/seating issues. All of this seems to be a software issue, based on the HUNDREDS of similar forum problems.

So, Dell - what's the problem? No system changes, nothing overheating, nothing broken on these HUNDREDS of computers. Is it Windows? Is it Dell? Is it a third-party software issue?
