m17 R1, BIOS 1.8.1, SupportAssist always check on booting, when laptop starting

My alienware M17 m17 R1 got a very annoying problem is that SupportAssist always starts on booting and always warn fail for fan checking. But my fan and everything is working perfectly. Since I have upgraded my bios to 2.6.0 which is the latest bios version. I have tried to disable Support Assist recovery on the BIOS menu but nothing worked. Have tried to check, disable legacy boot, change to legacy boot. My booting drive is SSD drive. These things are too much annoying. Hope dell and anyone could help me get out of these problems. Especially SupportAssist bios boot.

Thanks for asnwer, but I dont know if you understand my problem.

I deleted all apps with name Support Assist already year ago. But this Support Assist is running before Windows start. It is not app.

And sensor on fans I think is good. When I am turning on my laptop in the morning some times Support assist is starting check my system onley than are fans working on 100% continuesly. I have to restart my laptop and when support assist is not checking my sustem everythink is working fine.

It is problem in BIOS I think I am not expert but it is fail in DELL probram confiruration in BIOS.

Hi @TimoStudio thank you for sharing more additional information, that the Dell SupportAssist application has already been deleted.

You are having problems with BIOS and its intermittent POST processing, whose hardware testing is saying there is a problem to fix.

Is Dell ePSA diagnostics available? At splash screen, press and hold down the F12 key, the boot menu window should appear, select and run Diagnostics, when finished, click on arrow icon in bottom RH corner to open test result window.

Hi @TimoStudio  thank you for sharing video. Does the F12 change to legacy boot mode fix work for you?

Try reinstalling the Dell SupportAssist application, then use Revo Uninstaller Free to remove SupportAssist and all of its left over files using its advanced scanning mode.

Hi, I reinstall SupportAssist and I change to legacy boot mode. Now I cant say anything, but I will be testing my laptop during few days and I let you know OK. I HOPE this legacy boot mode fix this issue with SupportAssist scaning.

Hi @TimoStudio  I am not employed by Dell. I volunteer my free time and try to help. My only incentive is for users to give Kudos = Thank you.

Hi @TimoStudio  thank you for sharing update that switch to legacy mode has been undertaken.

If that does not work, advocate getting a new OS(C:) drive preinstalled with windows. Then remove all existing drives and clear BIOS memory. Now ready to install new OS(C:) drive and wait to see if this problem has gone. Not sure if old system has stored recovery information on your existing drives, so delay installing any of your existing storage drives for a few days.
