17 R5, self shutdown, no power

I was in the middle of playing a game and the laptop just turned off. Can't turn it back on. I've been troubleshooting for about 3 hours now and still nothing. Its a Saturday morning and I need it fixed. I have Premium Plus Warranty and can't get any help from Dell. Only lights I got to come on before zero response from the laptop at all was the Alienware emblem lit up and the side lights on the lid of the laptop and nothing else, and then a solid red power button later. I'm suspicious of overheating issues tied to the now dead laptop.

Hey Tia, i have the same problem...Last week my R5 just died on me and since then i trie to finde a solution... but no succes so far... did you got help and can you provide a solution or maybe just some information?

Compare your system's startup error light sequence to your manuals diagnostics error codes.
