Alienware Graphics Amplifier Not Detecting Card.

So, My graphics amplifier has been sort of a hassle. After installing the driver to help detect it I've finally gotten it to connect to the computer correctly, however it still won't detect my card. I am using an Alienware 13, and the card installed is a NVidia GeForce GTX 980. It says the External GPU is active within the Command Center, but yet again, no card is shown within the device manager. As a side note, the HDMI port on the card does not work. Any help is appreciated.
