Alienware Laptop
Wondering if I can upgrade my processor in my Alienware 17 (2014 model) laptop. If so, which processor would be the best? I currently have an i5. Thanks!

This is among the last systems with a socketed CPU that can be upgraded. The system was available with up to an i7-4810MQ processor.
These aren't common - they were not produced in large numbers, but you may find one on the used market (they haven't been made in years so new ones are likely unavailable).

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. What about upgrading my graphic card? Which one would be the best for my laptop?

Looks like it's the GTX 880m.

You can put an extreme unlocked processor in your machine like the 4930XM or 4940XM. If you don't want to overclock then the 4910MQ is a fantastic CPU (and can still be overclocked a little)
As far as a GPU, with a little bit of effort you can install a GTX 1060 or 1070 but an easier upgrade would be the 980M which is still a pretty decent card. You'll need a modded driver to make any of these cards work but it's not hard and I can mod one for you if you have trouble.
EDIT: You will need to change your CPU heatsink if you go for any higher i7. Your heatsink will probably only have 1 heat pipe but you will need at least a 2-pipe or even 3-pipe to cool the higher grade CPU's.
