Going with your statement, "It has basic warranty", since you did not purchase the additional optional Accidental Damage warranty, the only option you have through Dell is paying for the Out of Warranty repair listed above in crimsom reply.

Not sure what you are asking.
If Alienware m17 R3 has Dell accidental warranty, the cracked screen will be replaced under warranty.
You can ask for Dell contractor to provide estimate before getting repair undertaken, How to arrange an 'Out of Warranty' repair on your Dell System | Dell US. Dell do not repair their systems.
You may want to explore screen replacement by local repair shop, or replace screen yourself. Parts are available on eBay. Parts-people only had screen parts for Alienware m17 R2 Dell Alienware m17 R2 LCD Screens | Dell Alienware m17 R2 Laptop Parts (parts-people.com) There are YouTube videos showing how to replace m17 R3 screen.
If its just a small crack in screen corner, you may decide not to replace screen.
