Maximum size of objects

Hello,

What is the maximum size of the objects that can be created on Atmos? Is there any limit?

Is there any difference between the size limitation for Atmos Online versus Atmos in a Box?

thanks,

Navneeth,

As of the 1.2.0 release of Atmos, there is no limit to the size of objects that can be created or stored on an Atmos storage platform. Currently the Atmos Online service has a 2GB limit on individual objects being created. This limit may be changed in future updates to the service.

The Atmos in a Box is a VMware based environment which is provided to EMC partners for test and integration work. This environment runs the same software as a production Atmos platform and although it does not have a limit on object size, the storage available within this environment is limited to 28GB.

Regards,

Dave

That's great news, David! I look forward to testing the service with the larger object sizes as our needs increase. Thanks!
