Avamar 5.4.3 and ESXI 4.1 question
Hi to all,
We are testing in our lab environmet the avamar image backup level of our vm.
Our issue is that we cant'see the vm form the avamar administration console.
We correcttly see the ESXI server at the domain level from the console but when we try to expand the "virtual machines" tab we see nothing.
It's strange becaus if i go to the "administration" section from the console higlight the esxi server and click to the "protection" tab i see all the VM managed from that esxi!!
some ideas?

Hi Xsanx,
Have you deployed an Avamar proxy? If so, have you followed the VMware/Avamar manual to select the datastores to be protected by this proxy?

Where is the VMware/ Avamar manual?

Hi Xsanx,
Do you have virtual center? If you have virtual center, add virtual center to the avamar console and then browse for the virtual machines. Look in the EMC AVAMAR for VMware Guide v5.0.
