Avamar 7.3.1 add license
Hi
I have Avamar Virtual Edition 7.3.1, on the EMC Licensinig Portal I activated my license and I got the activated file with the extension *.lic. If that file is sufficient to activate my avamar server?

Yes, that is all you should need. The process to apply the license is documented in the Admin Guide.
Server status Running
Command sequence
a. chmod 644 /tmp/license_key_file
b. avmaint license /tmp/license_key_file --avamaronly
where license_key_file is the license key file.
Server status not running
Command sequence
a. cd /usr/local/avamar/etc
mv license.lic license.lic.old
b. cp /tmp/license_key_file license.lic
chmod 644 license.lic
