Avamar RMAN plugin error ORA-12541: TNS:no listener

Hello all,

I have issue with oracle backups when RMAN catalog should be used. Manual backup spawned from RMAN manually backups data to Avamar without problems.

But if I try to run backup from Avamar server it hangs with error ORA-12541: TNS:no listener.

I'm confused with options in Oracle plugin, because there should be RMAN catalog server and user filled. I'm not sure what should be filled there, is the server name really name off the box where catalog is running, or it is service name, also user should be filled in form auser@db or simple user??

Has anyone of you experience with this configuration??

There are couple of KB articles on the error : "ORA-12541: TNS:no listener" in support.emc.com, you may refer them!!
