Avamar VE integration with DataDomain implementation limitations

Hi,

I am interested to know about the known limitation of Avamar VE capabilities and any specific limitations with respect to integration with Data domain like

Does AVE has a limited number of clients that it can manage
Does AVE has a limited number of TB capacity backups that it can manage
What licenses do we need to get to have AVE+ DD working

Any other important aspects we need to be aware of when considering AVE + DD implementation would be greatly helpful.

I would start with the AVE/DDVE documentation. Then if you still have questions ask your Dell EMC sales team (assuming you have one). They'd be better positioned to advise you on a possible implementation in your environment. For example, licensing can depend on what you already have. My company's Data Protection Suite licensing gives us a certain amount of AVE licensing but not DDVE licensing. So if we wanted to implement AVE with DDVE we'd need extra licensing.
