Thanks Pawan,
Can you tell me like is there any other product that can be integrated with AVAMAR to meet the BMR. also let me know which product was recommended by EMC to do the BMR using AVAMAR.
I have googled and found that ABMR from christi product is good one, but not sure will EMC recommends this.
Please refer ABMR - Bare Machine Recovery for Avamar - Cristie software for more details.

Hello,
No, Avamar does not support BMR for linux.
Please check Compatibilty document on page 18 for finding more about BMR support.

I was just reading on that.... not really BMR but close
I am looking at the 7.0 Admin guide Page 466
Red Hat and CentOSLinux system Recovery...
you have to make the basic server then do some steps to make sure the FS' are of the correct size
So Look at that and see if that is what you are wanting.

Hello,
I am not sure about ABMR. I have not seen any information about this product anywhere in EMC docs.
If you think it can be a useful product for you, please check with product vendor.

Hi,
for both Avamar and Networker you can use products from cristie. Installed and tested it in a customer environment with Networker 9.0.1 in December. Works fine.
