Hi Williamas,

It may take time  probably for the account to be activated, this article should be visible to customers.

For some reason I did not find the option to add the PDF version here so for your convenience I will copy/paste the contents:

Symptoms

User receives the following error when attempting to active the Desktop/Laptop client after reinstallation.
*110* Re-registration of account /clients/XXXXX/avanargrid.corp.yyy.com is not permitted
Cause
The cid.bin file was gone after reinstall. The client looks like a new client to Management Console. The Management Console does not allow a new client register as an existing one.
Resolution
On the client machine, delete the following two files and try again:
C:\Program Files\avs\var\avagent.cfg
C:\Program Files\avs\var\cid.bin
If that does not work:
  1. From the mcgui policy window on the Avamar server,
  2. Select the Clients tab.
  3. Navigate to the domain where the client is located.
  4. Select the client in the right side pane, and edit the client.
  5. Uncheck the Activated check box, and click OK
  6. The client should be able to register now.

I would give a try as nayaks recommended.
