Need Avamar 7.0 plug-in for Exchange VSS on 32 bit server
I am running backups on an Avamar. The version I'm running is 7.0. One of my exchange servers is Windows 2003 R2 32 bit. When I browse to the Avamar to find and install the client, that is fine. However there is not a 32 bit plug-in available only one for 64 bit - which obviously isn't going to run.
How do I get the Exchange VSS client?

Looks like this lead to a good resolution...
I have another Windows Server 2003 R2 32 bit server at another plant running Exchange for that location and it is getting backed up perfectly every night. It is running the Ver. 6.0.x client and plug-in so I installed that on this server and the back up is working good now.
Thanks for pointing me on the right track! Not sure why I didn't think to check that version. I have other Exchange servers at other plants but they are on Win server 2008 64 bit, so not a problem.

Exchange VSS is only supported on Exchange 2007 and on-wards, In order to backup Exchange 2003 you need Exchange legacy plugin which is support on Avamar 6.0
