Clariion FC5600 and PowerPath

Hello,

I have this storage. Does PowerPath support it?
If yes, what version and how one can get it?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks!

I installed PP 5.2 but it doesn't detect FC5600. Does it require any specific version of PP?

If you are using an array this old I assume it is for test/dev purposes? I would just direct connect one HBA and not worry about multipathing. ATF is really old, I have dim painful memories of using it on Windows 2000 Sever ;-)

You might have missed the point Pierluca earlier mentioned. This Array - FC5600 is not supported with PowerPath - this is really a vintage box and that time only ATF was the Multi-pathing software.

Thanks, got it.

I guess ATF is not available to download?

ATF is now so old that you won't find the downloads here. Maybe someone still has it on 8" floppy :-) (just kidding)

And the confusion on the FC numbering scheme is because the FC4X00 series came out AFTER the FC5X00 series arrays. I had a pair of FC4700-2 arrays on the floor starting in late 2000. At that time the FC5X00 series were already End of Life.

I was told there was a Solaris version of ATF.

yes you are right there was a version for solaris too , anyway we can't distribute this software .

The latest version for solaris was ATF 3.4.1 , was GA on 01-DEC-2002 and Support ended on 31-DEC-2003

Bottom line , we can't distribute this software anymore , so if you still want to use this in your environment you need to find another source .
