If you don't have a license for Storage Analytics, NAR files are created in an encrypted NAZ file format. There is no way to convert these files. If you have performance issues, you can send them to EMC for analysis, but unfortunately, you won't be able to decrypt them yourself.
Let us know if that helps!

Agree to Karl.
Without Analyzer license, you won't be able to decrypt the naz files to nar.
Need to engage EMC support team if you are facing any performance issue on array.

You can have them analyzed via MiTrends, for free.

Hi,
NAZ file is encrypted NAR file. Either EMC or Live Optics team can help to convert it to NAR file.
FYI, MiTrendis no more Partner with DellEMC. It is replaced by Live Optics a very intuitive tool. Though its capabilities are limited and it does not support all the Storage arrays but it works with Networker,VNX,Clarion, XtremeIO and VMAX.
Cheers!!
