Adding to what Vipin mentioned, step by step insturctions are mentioned in CLARiiON Procedure Generator.
CLARiiON support websites have replaced the CLARiiON Procedure Generator from Powerlink. Please go to http://www.emc.com/clariionsupport and click your storage-system series to create customized documentation for your configuration.

Unisphere Service Manager or NST will assist you in adding a new DAE. Also you will get many discussions on this community related to the same ( e.g., Installing (Adding) new DAE4P to CX4-960 )
