Can we exclude certain file types from being written to CIFS shares?

Here's the scenario, we have a CIFS server  with a Share mounted.  We would like certain file(s) from being written to this share.  Is this even possible?

just keep in mind this is a simple extention filtering - i.e. if you configure it to block *.mp3 then it would still allow to store a MP3 file as *.mp or any other file extention

the Celerra doesnt look at the actual file like a virus scanner would

if you need that there are third-party solutions that can do this more advanced blocking
