Centera Emulator???

Hello!

We're starting evaluating adapting an application of ours to support Centera as a storage media.

I was told that a simulator exists online, but I can't figure out where and/or how to use it. Can anybody please provide me with some information on how to simulate a Centera device?

Hi davidec,

You will need to download a PEA (Pool Entry Authorization) file and use the IP's of the Centera Online Cluster (e.g. US2) in your application's connection string. You can find information about the Centera Online Clusters here. The page has a list of available Centera clusters with connection/access details.

I managed to find the online clusters three days ago, after a long search, by chance. Anyway the link you provided is exactly what I used.

By the way, I only needed basic stuff, and managed to do without any PEA...
