Graceful shutdown of SCv3000 & SCv300 enclosure
Hi, I need to perform a graceful shut down an SCv3000 & SCv300 enclosure. I am running the DSM client version 2019 R1 and can see under the actions menu / system / there is a Shut down/Restart option. Will selecting the shutdown option gracefully power off both controllers & the SCv300 enclosure or does the enclosure need to be manually turned off after the power down of the storage array?

In Storage Manager the System-Shutdown/Restart will gracefully shut down the storage system and expansion enclosures. Just a reminder though, that shutting down the storage system and expansion enclosures results in a system outage, so you may want to plan to perform these procedures during a maintenance window.
