Being lied to in order to get the sale???

So Ive been a long time alienware fan.  Ive had an alienware aurora for almost 7yrs.  Great pc only had to replace the gfx card. sadly the liquid cooling system leaked all over the motherboard and new gfx card.  So I went to purchase a new one.  The x51 looked like the perfect fit for me, only one thing I didnt see a media card reader on it or in the description. so I asked:

heather: "oh i forgot to check something too does this pc have a multi card reader on it for like sd cards (camera)"
02/04/2015 09:13:41AM Agent (TIP_Evangeline): "Yes it does and just one more thing, you may also consider getting the 2yrs Accidental Damage Service to cover accidental drops, spills, and electrical surges this is only $79"
02/04/2015 09:15:29AM Agent (TIP_Evangeline): "your thought please?"
02/04/2015 09:16:13AM heather: "no thank you"
02/04/2015 09:17:33AM heather: "where would the reader be located on the pc"
02/04/2015 09:17:53AM heather: "i dont see it nor do i see it under the description under ports"
02/04/2015 09:18:11AM heather: "none of the packages have it listed"
02/04/2015 09:18:14AM Agent (TIP_Evangeline): "Okay sure , please hold"
02/04/2015 09:19:43AM Agent (TIP_Evangeline): "It is located at the back of the tower Heather"
02/04/2015 09:20:31AM

heather: "oh ok kewl"

I got the pc yesterday and needless to say I was pretty ticked off when there wasnt a card reader or media port in the back of the tower.  is this what your customer service is? I talked to another rep and he said to return it and get a refund Im not interested in returning it (I need it for work).  Im a photographer so a card reader is a must.  If she had told me there wasnt one I would had bought a different model.  this may not seem like a big deal for some folks as they make portable usb readers. but to me its just the principal.  I was lied to just to get a sale.  If I do not hear from someone about this I will be contacting an agency.

The sales representative must have been confused. The Alienware X51-R2 small form factor desktop does not have a Card Reader. The more expensive large desktop Alienware Area-51 R2 does come with the 9-in-1 Nikon D80 Card Reader "built-in" to the motherboard. The only way you could add a Card Reader to the Alienware X51-R2 would be via an external USB 3.0 Card Reader. The only escalation path I know of to voice your complaints is through this online form. But other then apologize, there is no fix for this design choice by Dell.
