Order Number: Not yet assigned​

I ordered an Alienware m15 r1 laptop on 3/14/20 and got expedited shipping with the expected delivery to be on 3/26/20. But when I go on the see order details I have a purchase number ID, but I have no order number and it says my order is processing. I am curious if this is normal and if me paying for the expedited shipping will make it be delivered by the time it says.
