Warranty Start Date
Hello
My Dell XPS 15 9560 laptop was purchased from a retail store in Dallas Texas on 15 May 2018 but the warranty start date showing 23 April 2017 . Meaning the moment i opened the laptop 11 months of warranty expired already without using it. I have filled and sent the transfer ownership form but nothing happened.
Can somebody from Dell fix this error. I can provide the required information.

Go back to the seller - have them initiate the warranty with Dell.
If you try, you'll likely find they won't give you a full year -- they will generally allow six months' grace but for systems that have sat on the shelf for a year or more -- they will not.
