CX300 - only expensive Fibre Channel drives?
Hi
I have got a CX300, and wanted to put some more drives in it.
I am right, I can only use these unbelievable expensive FC Hard Disks?
Sorry for my English
Thank you very much

An EMC (or Dell|EMC) CX-array will only accept EMC certified drives.
The CX300 Disk Processor Enclosure only accepts fiber channel drives. However, you can daisy chain other enclosures off of it, including a DAE2-ATA, which would support (EMC certified) ATA drives.
You can often find EMC drives on Ebay or so for less than buying them directly from Dell or EMC.
