Networker Data Domain integration customer want to place new DD2200 alongside the existing one, configure Networker to point to the new one and let the old data age out.

Hello BRS Experts,

Customer wants to place new DD2200 alongside the existing one, configure Networker 9.1 to point to the new one and let the old data age out.

This is a remote site on a Remote Storage Node with each remote DD setup.Customer uses DDBoost.

There are few good documents on Networker and Data Domain integration but this case customer want to place new DD2200 alongside the existing one, configure Networker to point to the new one and let the old data age out.

Any info on the procedure much appreciated!

This is my brief plan on remote site for adding a Data Domain.  Anything missing or any info feedback very much appreciated.

Phase 1: Initial configuration of DD, Configuration of DD Management Interfaces Licences+DDBoost user account etc

Phase 2: Configuration of DD I/O modules and connecting to Customer network

Phase 3: Add the new dd to Networker and create DDBoost devices(Seperate Networker pool for DDBoost devices)

Phase 4: DD Replication CCR(clone controlled replication. setup to  head office

Thanks, and kind regards
