Question: Alert details in EMC Networker Backup failed
Hello Community
I've copied the system rule "backup failed" . Now I want customize the alert text details .
I would like insert the error message in the alert text details , which are in EMC Networker report displayed (Backup Job Error Details)
If I select the attribute {Host.NetWorker.NetWorkerBackupClient.Backupjob.statuscodesummary} , the message text are not displayed in the field alert
I have added various attributes, none has led to my desired result.
The alert is structured like attached picture.
Any Idea?

For what you wish to achieve I would rather use NW than DPA by dumping error into text and parsing error and failed client within notification script.

Yes, you're right
But I would like to pass on to the alert function of the error message text to an external snmp monitoring receiver .

Sure, why not... I use same thing with NW... I place error (actually savegrp alert) onto disk, parse client which has failed (not interested in error) and mail that back to email address.
