OME limitations

We are seeing issues where OME just stops processing snmp alerts after the system has been up for a long time. In these situations the DSM Essentials Network monitor process never stops without a process kill. We have 50+ email alerts which I believe may be a performance issue. I am looking at rationalising these. Any know issues? OME v 1.3. We have 700 registered systems

Hi,

  • Can you please help us with the system configuration that you have where OME is running? Please make sure that they are in par in the supported configuration.
  • Also, can you let me understand why do you have 50 email alert actions in you environment? You can have multiple email ids, or multiple alerts selected in one task only. Is there a specific reason for so many email alert actions?
