Troubles linking mobile app to OME Server
Hi,
I have just installed OME Server and would like to be able to access the server from the mobile app.
I opened port 2607 which appears also in the app login screen and can confirm that the port is open as I can access the server from web interface from anywhe to.
However for some reason through the App, it fails to add the OME.
Do you perhaps know of any other port which may be needed to be forwarded to this server in order to allow the mobile app to successfully login and receive push messages, etc. ?
Thanks,
Dvir

Hi Dvir,
Thanks for your post. You need to have VPN connectivity to the OME instance from your phone to be able to add the instance and later monitor the servers through OME.
Once you register with OME, you can receive push notifications on your phone without VPN connectivity.

Hi Dvir,
That is the correct port. Can you tell us a bit more? Are you able to access the OME web server from a browser on the mobile device?
You can try the URI http:// IP>:2607/api/OME.svc/Application where OME IP is your system IP.
Are you connecting via local WiFi? A cellular connection may not have enough bandwidth, but local WiFi or remote WiFI + VPN should work. You can verify the VPN is configured if you can access the above URL.
Also, let us know if you get a particular error message.
Thanks,
David
