The Antec should work without problems, I've seen several posts of users using the Earthwatts model power supplies in various model Dell's.  Dell does not use proprietary power supplies in their standard size desktops anymore (they did at one time).  I have an Antec Tru Power Trio 550 watt installed in my Dimension E510 and along with the extra power, the fan in the power supply is quiet compared to the stock Dell power supply fan.

The Antec will work, looks like this when installed

Depending on the version of GXT+ that you have you may not need to bother with upgrading.

The single connector 55nm 9800 GTX+ uses no more power than an 8800 GT and generally works fine on the Dell 375.

Here's the EA500 at discount pricing, in case your not comfortable using the Dell psu
