Automatic Maintenance
New xps 8700. Trying to stop some of the running processes(services). Every day at 2 pm. the AM is started. Is this necessary and what does it do? I have talked to the India connection but they were not much help. They say it has something to do with clearing the cache.

Not sure what that is supposed to do, but perhaps it checks for software/driver updates etc.
Look in the Windows Task Scheduler and if it's listed there, you could disable it or just change the time when it runs if you want to keep it going...
