Can't uninstall software
I have 2007 Dell c521 desktop. on the C drive, in users->owner->appdata->locallow->pricegong
I want get rid of Pricegong. When I search throughthe Windows button (bottom left) and/or the controlpanel "programs", this software can't be found.
Can I simply "delete" the folder?

I think this will require Registry modifications.

Search for remove pricegong, and a number of links will be found. I think I would try http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-pricegong-ads/.
the listed programs are free or have limited-time trial programs. I use Malwarebytes, but after the trial period is over, it starts bugging you to upgrade to the pay version. Just remove it using the Control Panel Add-Remove programs.

Go to Spywarehammer.com for free expert help removing malware.
After you register, be sure to read their instructions on how to start a new thread, and include the exact PC model and version of Windows in your first post.
You can tell them you were referred to Spywarehammer from the Dell Community forum.
