Hi,

The dimensions of Studio XPS 435T/9000 chassis shipped from Dell are:

  • Height 49.3 cm (19.4 inches)
  • Width 19.8 cm (7.8 inches)
  • Depth 52.8 cm (20.8 inches)
  • Weight 20.01 kg (44.1 lb)

Chassis designs are OEM specific for Dell computers and you may find it difficult to locate the exact connectors(power, hard drive etc). Standard ATX can accommodate motherboard of 305×244 mm dimension. ATX has following variants:

Name Width Depth
FlexATX 9 in (229 mm) 7.5 in (191 mm)
microATX and EmbATX 9.6 in (244 mm) 9.6 in (244 mm)
Mini ATX 11.2 in (284 mm) 8.2 in (208 mm)
Standard ATX 12 in (305 mm) 9.6 in (244 mm)
EATX (extended ATX) 12 in (305 mm) 13 in (330 mm)
EEATX (enhanced extended ATX) 13.68 in (347 mm) 13 in (330 mm)
WTX (workstation ATX) 14 in (356 mm) 16.75 in (425 mm)

So you can look for one, compatible with your computer. For more information you can refer to the link: http://bit.ly/Sq5U6J

Please reply for further clarifications.

I misread your post, hence the Studio XPS 435MT error,  :emotion-10:

Have no idea which case would be compatible, but whenever I've build a desktop I prefer to use a ATX Mid Tower case, as this usually accepts both MircoATX and ATX motherboards.

Yes, most mid tower and all full tower cases will be compatible with the 435t/9000 atx board

The front panel wiring is slightly different, but the USB and audio headers are completely compatible. I have an XPS 8500 (similar layout) board in a Cooler Master N200 case.
