Dell inspiron 620 won't boot with AMD HD6570 (Help?)

Hello,

I've purchased an AMD Radeon XFX HD6570 for my Dell Inspirion 620 and installed it into my Computer and when turning it on it boots up for a second with a black screen then turns off.

Would appreciate the help on getting this card to work, thanks.

Hi Ravanofdarkness,

Thanks for posting.

According to the AMD Radeon website, that video card requires a power supply of at least 400 watts.  I believe the 620 has a 300 watt power supply.

Thanks for the quick reply but i don't think it's an issue with the Power Supply cause i've installed an EVGA 400 N1, 400W PSU awhile back before purchasing the AMD Radeon HD6570.

I see the fans booting on the Card but my Monitor isn't receiving a Signal and then the System shuts down.

At this point, your system is out of scope for Dell technicians, and we won't have any information on compatibility.  Hopefully one of the members of the community has tried this and can answer your questions.
