When I start my computer I am just getting beeps and it is not booting. Does anyone know what might be causing this and what I need to do to fix it?

Is the power button LED, solid green, blinking green, solid amber, blinking amber?
Check the sequence of the DIAGNOSTIC LIGHTS on the back panel.

GYGY diagnostic lights indicate a memory problem, open the case, remove and reinstall the RDRAM modules and see if it makes a difference.
Details for removing and installing the 8200 memory modules, are HERE
If the above fails to correct the problem, then one of modules may have failed.

I thought with RDRAM, one module will not work, a matching pair must be used, plus all the slots must be populated with either a memory module or a continuity module. :emotion-5:

I would just like to add that inserting the memory one stick at a time and booting the computer will test them. This will help isolate which of your memory modules is bad.

Thanks, always good to learn more, I try not to give out false info, but I sometimes do anyways by accident.
