Dimension 9150 will not go to BIOS
Have a dimension 9150 with Windows XP and i recently upgraded the BIOS to A07. Now the system will not let me into the BIOS. Press F2, screen does a little flash then nothing. The system will boot up fine and in all other ways appears to be acting correctly. Trying to add another hard drive and can't because of BIOS issue.
any help would be appreciated

Just flash the original file. You can find the old versions here.

Resetting the CMOS sometimes helps with problematic BIOS updates.
Other than that, I would suggest reflashing the BIOS or going back to the original.

I'm not sure what the problem is here. I think others might have had the same problem. You might try searching for a solution.

i have just tried several times to flash to an earlier version of the BIOS all the way back to A00. Unfortunately it is continuing to do the same thing. Hitting F2 or even hitting F12 and going to system settings from there gets the same result: minor flash on screen like system is thinking about it and then blank. No problems booting all the way to XP.
is there another way to "turn on" a hard drive so the system can see it?

What's the difference between 2 monitors? Your solution suggests that BIOS may not be set correctly for video settings.
