GX620 MT motherboard upgrades?
I would like to modify a GX620 MT to accept a better processor. My understanding is that a 745 motherboard, specifically a 0MM093, will work and support a Core 2 Duo. Is this correct? Is there anything better (support for Quad) available? Thanks.

Core2 Duo and Quads require a newer Optiplex like the 755. The higher end processors tend to have copper heatsinks and larger power supplies.
The Front and back panels are not universal across the optiplex line nor are the heatsinks and power supplies.
