Inspiron E1505 14" Notebook Screen Inquiry (frame seems to be splitting)...
Hello there.
The lower left-hand portion of my screen seems to be splitting (white trim from the silver part).
The hinge and fasteners are still there.
I can close my computer, but I try not to.
My computer is working great, though.
Does anybody else has this issue?
Could this be repaired?
Thanks.

The hinges are going out. You need to replace them here or try ebay. I am not aware of the E1505 comming with a 14" screen though I thought it was a 15.4.

Good afternoon, dallascowboysworldchamps.
Thank you very much for your prompt answer to my inquiry. I'm checking out the website, as I type this. I'm glad that it can be repaired and that I can do it myself (first timer). Your right, it is a 15.4" laptop (mistake on my part). Thanks again for the info. Happy upcoming holidays to you and yours. Happy Dell Customer. :o)

Good evening, it's me again.
I just received my replacement back top cover w/hinges and it would have been great to have some instructions. I'm currently searching on this web site for more information. Would I need any special tools or anything? Any response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
