Just upgraded processor on my deminsion c521.
I have AMD AthlonX2 BE-2350 Boxed Processor. AM2 Socket, 45 Watt with 1MB L2 Cache. 2.1GHz and when I run dxdiag it says it's unknown. I was told to update my bios but I went to the drivers section of dell and I already have version 1.1.11. What am i missing?

If the BIOS did not detect an "incompatible processor" when you first boot up, the BIOS should be OK and since you have the latest version that's all there is.
Does everything else in Windows appear to be working OK? Check the Device Manager and see if the Processor has been detected OK in the Device Manager. If everything else appears to be OK, what version of Direct X do you have? If you have version 9, the 9c is the latest version and if you don't have that update to it. There is a later Direct X V10 but unless you have a video card that supports it, do not download that.
