Logitech MK710 with Dell XPS 8700

I have a new Dell XPS 8700 and an old Logitech MK710 wireless mouse/keyboard set. The keyboard worked fine with my previous Dell desktop, but I'm having problems using it with the new one.

If I boot my 8700 with just the MK710 dongle plugged in one of the USB ports in the back, the system won't boot. It just beeps and hangs. If I boot it with an older wired USB keyboard and mouse, it works fine. I can then remove the old mouse, replace it with the NK710 wireless dongle and everything works fine. It's just that it won't boot initially.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any idea what I can do to fix this?

Thanks,

Dave...

Have you tried disabling USB Boot Support in BIOS setup? (Reboot and press F2 to open setup.)

EDITED: I can't spell today. :emotion-10:
