Monitor goes black intermittently
So first off my system is a Dell E2316hr monitor and a Inspiron 3050 desktop one of those Mini square box small form with a J1800 CPU. I hooked it up via a displayport cable because the monitor only offers a displayport or VGA connection and the 3050 only has a HDMI or DisplayPort. My issue is that intermittently the screen goes black as if I totally lose video signal. Not that monitor sleeps, or loses power or the desktop. Because I am using the PC at the time it goes black. I just lose video briefly and then it returns. No error messages, self check of monitor if fine, drivers and bios all updated. Trying to figure out which is the problem the PC or the monitor?

Try changing cable first.

Yes, tried that, but still same issue and adding to it was losing wifi too mysteriously. Well this AM would not boot amber flashing LED in power button. Tried resetting bios and nothing, think its DOA. Oh well, didn't spend much on the PC. Was a refurb. so I guess maybe it had some issues prior.
